Virtual receptionist is used in business or office that refers to an individual who can answer the phone and performs all the duties of an on-site receptionist. But they are not located actually at the office or business location. Answering service agents, customer service representatives and also appointment schedulers can all be classified as virtual receptionist if they are working at the remote location or at the off-site. In most of the cases, they will be working from home office.
