1999, founded "Symphony LLC"., providing seminar programs in the areas of business success, marketing, construction management, and sales.

1999, founded the "Advanced Pool Studies Institute" (APSI) which trained over a thousand swimming pool company owners, managers, sales staff, and construction managers, clients including "Paramount Pool and Spa Systems", "Aquatech", "Trilogy Pools" (fiberglass pool manufacturer), the "National Spa and Pool Institute", the "NSPI Manufacturers Council", "Hanley Wood Exhibitions", and the "Association of Pool Spa Professionals" (APSP), and others.

Rex, co-authored the NSPI "Builders Manual" 2nd Edition, served on the APSP "Education Committee", "Technical Writing Committee", development committee for the "International Society of Certified Building Professionals" ISCBP), liaison to the NSPI "Manufacturers Council" and as Chairman of the APSP "Builders Council".

2021, Founded “goWhiteMountains.com” a comprehensive marketing program to increase and enhance awareness, travel, migration, and business success in the Arizona White Mountain region. Project to go live spring of 2023.
