I believe my passion is to empower the youth so that the social change we are doing now will continue for centuries to come. I try to meet people where they are in their culture and in their environment in order to listen to their stories and meet them in the midst of their struggles. I aspire to be a small part in a bigger vision where the cycle of intergenerational poverty is broken through encouraging, educating, and motivating youth to rise above societal expectations. If we do not educate the youth who will continue our work when we are gone?
