Community Advocate Leader in San Francisco, California

Over the past two decades, Rey Emmanuel Javier most commonly known by Rey Javier dedicated his work to community service in the San Francisco Bay Area, helping the most vulnerable and underserved communities.

Rey Javier is a community advocate leader, and currently serves as a real estate coordinator for Hamilton Families in San Francisco.

As an immigrant from Manila, Philippines, from the early 1990s, and being blessed with many opportunities in the United States, from retail management at Macy’s Federated Department Stores to corporate marketing at Wells Fargo Bank, Rey Javier later focused his career during the past twenty years to local government and non-profit work.

Rey Javier previously served the City & County of San Francisco’s Mayor’s Office Of Housing as a program officer; the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of S.F as a program manager and have been involved with other non-profit organizations which served the Bay Area including SHELTER, Inc. in the East Bay and Northern California, as well as and nationwide efforts, supporting foreclosure mitigation with Homeownership Preservation Foundation or 888-995-HOPE hotline during the foreclosure crisis in 2006-2007.

Rey Javier is an advocate for housing solutions, affordable, supportive and fair housing, as well as community efforts serving the Filipino-American and LGBTQ+ communities in the San Francisco Bay Area region.

Rey Javier’s work is recognized by the San Francisco City and County Board of Supervisors, the California State Assembly and the State of California.

Rey is a licensed real estate salesperson by the California Department of Real Estate since 2005. Rey is also a recipient of Tipping Point Organization’s Fellowship Cohort in 2020.
