Responsible for all aspects of worldwide operations including the 18 month execution of funding, partnerships, negotiations, and government incentive programs on a $175M, 100 megawatt/year factory complex in Senatobia, Mississippi working closely with the state Economic Development Authority and the offices of the Governor.
Successfully negotiated and executed a $225M complex business manufacturing structure with the government of Malaysia that drove the approval of a first stage, 100 megawatt/year high-volume, low cost manufacturing site. Responsible for formulating and executing all supply chain related functions including outsourced contract manufacturing to China of key assembly components and sourcing of raw materials. Successfully implemented all safety and quality programs in multiple sites.
Managed and drove application and process for a $225M company investment into Malaysia for a 100 megawatt/yr high-volume, low-cost manufacturing site. Interfaced with government officials, the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), and local partners to secure MIDA approval and loan guarantees of $187.5M. MIDA and Minister of Finance approved the application in June 2010 and ground breaking occurred in December 2010.
