Raised in Kansas City, Rachel Flattery is a recent Kansas State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and emphasis in marketing. She interned at LEWIS PR, an award-winning global communications agency in San Francisco, CA. She’s excited to put what she’s learned in the classroom to work in the real world.

During her time in college, she had articles published in K-State’s The Collegian newspaper as well as the university’s Update magazine. Her skills include Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), PR writing (press releases, news/feature writing, newsletters, media kits, etc.) and public speaking. She is a member of PRSSA and goes nowhere without her AP Stylebook within arms reach. As a barista at Radina’s coffeehouse in Manhattan, KS, she also sells merchandise and handles company deposits.

She has an interest for writing, reading, movies, pop culture, social media, animals, and travel. She would love to obtain a job where travelling is an option because she dreams about going back to Italy and Greece again!
