Ramon Garcia

Ramon P. Garcia III is a senior majoring in Communications at California State University, East Bay. He is set to graduate in 2015 with hopes to get a job in public relations or corporate management.

Ramon P. Garcia III is a hardworking individual who demonstrates this through his focus on school and work. At Las Positas Community College, he achieved his Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences. He also achieved his Retail Management Certificate. Working full time at Macy's, he furthered his education and transferred to California State University, East Bay. At Macy's, he was able to develop skills to effectively communicate with people and become a fine jewelry specialist. He was offered a management position for his ability to provide excellent customer service and for leading by example. Although he was offered a management position, he respectively declined the offer to better himself through higher education. Ramon continues to balance work at Macy's in the fine jewelry department with school and strives to excel in both. He hopes one day that his experience with retail and education will pay off by achieving a position in corporate management.

What inspires him the most to continue his education is his future. By continuing his education, he knows he will be able to live a more financially secure life. For this to occur, he knows that education is a key component to a successful career. After he receives his Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2015 at California State University, East Bay, he is considering to further his education by getting his Master of Arts in Communications.
