Hello,

My name is Ryan Harpst and I am a Junior at the University of Dayton studying Economics with hopes of pursuing a career in government or electoral politics.

I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and grew up there my entire life.

I currently work for the Rob Portman for U.S. Senate re-election campaign out of the Dayton, Ohio office. As the Deputy Field Director I work to grow grassroots outreach in Montgomery and Greene County in order to build a coalition of youth to support Senator Portman in the largest Senate race in the nation this year.

I also serve as a Junior Class Senator in Student Government at the University of Dayton and am the Treasurer of the University of Dayton College Republicans.

I hope to work on Capitol Hill interning for a congressman or the Republican National Congressional Committee this upcoming summer of 2017.
