Dr. Rhea Kim brings wealth of leadership experience in building and successful business negotiations, organizational leadership, and high-quality research. Most importantly, as a multi-lingual Korean-American with experience global networking and negotiations, Dr. Kim understands the cultural and social ramifications of various ethnic communities critical in successful business negotiations. She built a high-performing operation with performance and financial success navigating complex organizations with high intellect and business acumen.
Dr. Kim has been serving as a professor at the University of Southern California. Dr. Kim is active in research in areas of Diversity – both quantitative and qualitative. Dr. Kim’s dissertation on “Asian American Females in Higher Education Leadership” is scheduled for publication.
Dr. Kim’s reputation for successful business transactions and organizational leadership is highly regarded. She values a collaborative working environment and can establish strong, interpersonal relationships with corporate executives, consultants, and staff. She produced high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Dr. Kim brings charismatic, personal and disciplined style with the ability to interface effectively with corporate executives and she can excite and educate internal and external audience with proven communication skills.
Dr. Kim firmly believes in giving back to the community. As a proud Korean-American raised in Los Angeles, she dedicates her time to serving the Korean community by teaching non-English speaking Korean elders preparing to become U.S. Citizens, English and US History.
Dr. Kim was nominated for the KCET’s “Local Hero Award” in 2009, 2010, and 2011 for her contribution in the community.
Dr. Kim received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Roski School of Fine Arts of the University of Southern California, both Master’s in Education and Doctorate in Education from Rossier School of Education of the University of Southern California.
