Born and raised in the Pennsylvania countryside, I studied Philosophy and Art Theory before obtaining a degree in Fine Art. I'm interested in concept and idea regarding what it means to be human, but wish to work with my hands. I value selflessness, honesty, patience, and humility. I live as environmentally conscious as I can. I'm interested in the universality of the human condition. Without social structure or identity, what makes us human? What is beauty? I create large scale oil paintings - landscape based - that are meant to be expansions of space into the cerebral or emotional realms. I pair this with site-specific immersive installations to create an environment depicting these immaterial spaces.
