Richard Hearn

(To the tune of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”)
Now this is a bio on all about how I ended up teaching in Chi-town
In Northeast Philadelphia born and raised
Studying hard in school is where I spent most of my days
Collaboratin' managin' teachin' all cool
I worked at a public, charter and parochial school
A chance road trip then 50 feet of snow
Is how I ended up in Ol' Chicago
I whistled for an Uber and when it came near
The license plate said DABEARS and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say this cab was rare - hands down
But I thought, “Nah, fugetta ‘bout it” – Yo cabbie to Bucktown.
