Importance Of Education

How important is the education system? I hear a lot of people who claim it's insignificant and doesn't affect our daily life, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Without the education system that we have now we would be living in an entirely different world. For example history teaches us how decisions and actions people took in the past played out and affected the way of life afterwards. Without learning our history we would never be able to learn from the mistakes people have made in the past and be stuck in this constant loop of arrogance making the same mistakes over and over again. English goes hand and hand with this, Because without the ability and widespread knowledge of reading and writing we wouldn't be able to document anything and all our information would come from what we hear people say which is a unreliable and inconstant source of information that would be hard to fact check. Therefore a world without reading and writing is a world that would never evolve and prosper. As for the remaining core classes which are Math and Science, both these subjects enhance our general knowledge and understanding of how things work to an extreme extent. And if the “School” system was never created this knowledge would be a rare thing to have because very few people would go out of there way to track down and learn these subjects to the extent that we have learnt so far.
