Rudolf Heinz-Gueye

Boston, Massachusetts

Rudolf Heinz-Gueye is a self-described “grass-roots playmaker” in the field of social justice. His work includes protest organization, arranging quality legal counsel for the underrepresented, and promoting awareness of everyday challenges faced by disenfranchised peoples.

His seminal work in social justice came during his undergraduate and graduate studies at Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he spearheaded an aggressive rape-awareness campaign, organizing round-table discussions and visibility seminars and implementing a campus program for actionable anonymous rape reporting.

Since completing his undergrad, Rudolf's unquenchable thirst for equality has led him to seek change in the professional sphere. He recently finished a series of workshops for San Francisco small businesses, teaching them how to best align themselves to provide opportunities to marginalized peoples and maintain a work environment that welcomes all races, genders, and religious faiths.

Rudolf's speaking tours have brought him up and down both American coasts, and to such faraway places as Brazil, India, Germany, Morocco, Nigeria, and Australia.

Rudolf now organizes workshops at New England colleges and businesses, focused on providing laymen with a practical understanding of queer theory, workplace discrimination, and the true meaning of equality.

Rudolf is an avid scuba diver and handball player.
