Hi I'm Rhiannon Henley!

I am truly passionate about engaging with others; helping them to learn and develop in order to achieve and become their best possible selves

That's why I studied Occupational Psychology and have pursued my interest in training, learning and development, and careers advice and guidance. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with individuals in both group training and one to one environments helping them to learn and enhance their knowledge and skill sets to ultimately achieve and grow in confidence. It is an invaluable, rewarding experience and I am pleased that I still get to practice this in my current role at Suffolk County Council.

In my current role, I work collaboratively with colleagues from various district councils across Suffolk and the Suffolk Constabulary to jointly manage the Suffolk Graduate Partnership Scheme and the Suffolk Internship Scheme. Both enable me to work with talented students and graduates and support them to develop exciting careers within the public sector. I also lead on the recruitment and selection processes for these schemes.

In addition, I am fortunate enough to work closely with the Corporate Learning Partner at Suffolk County Council to deliver learning and development interventions and strategies for the council. For example, I adopted a strategic approach, along with the application of learning and organisational development knowledge to introduce the concept of a blended learning approach for introducing a key change to the organisation’s approach to absence management.

My career is hugely important to me; I have always been highly motivated and driven to achieve and to this end have continuously challenged myself taking on new and interesting learning and development opportunities.

I am a extremely loyal and caring person; my friends, family and my Pug Penny mean everything to me and in my spare time I love nothing more than to spend time with them.

I also love to travel the world for fun and exciting experiences - my husband and I recently enjoyed our honeymoon in Dubai and the Maldives which was simply breath taking.
