Rebecca Humberger is an enthusiastic 21-year-old who aspires to be an event coordinator.

Rebecca graduated from Newton Falls High School in 2010 and is currently finishing her degree at Bowling Green State University pursuing a degree in Tourism, Leisure, and Event Planning. She is also working on her event planners certification through the Wedding and Event Institute.

Rebecca's passion for events evolved when she was selected to represent BGSU at the annual Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (CAACURH) conference at the University of Maryland at College Park and the annual National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) conference at Western Illinois University in 2011 and at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012. Her experience in the event industry started with planing a Battle of the Bands fundraiser for the BGSU's Dance Marathon. Rebecca held internships at Stone Ridge Golf Club and the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau. Now, Rebecca is currently interning at Nazareth Hall, a local banquet facility.

In college, Rebecca is highly involved in campus activities. She is currently on the Student Legacy Campaign's executive board as an events coordinator, and an active and national board member for the Student Event Planners Association. She is currently serving as the Multimedia Director for SEPA's national board and as vice president for the local BGSU chapter. Rebecca has previously held positions for BGSU's Dance Marathon's Entertainment Committee as Band Coordinator and the Resident Student Association as Marketing Chair and Webmaster.

In her spare time, Rebecca likes to be inspired by Pinterest, craft, attend country concerts (her favorites are Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, and Reba McEntire), catch up on her favorite television shows (Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and NCIS), hang out with her roommates, as well as helping others.
