I'm a multi-award-winning Marketing Director and since 2004 I have been honing skills in several facets of marketing, public relations and communications. Many of my past jobs have been fast-paced and under-staffed, giving me the ability to learn and develop multiple skills at an accelerated rate. I have worked with companies conducting business in various industries in B2B, B2C, and government segments – I have also done several projects for non-profit organizations.
In 2008 I launched my own company, Hunter Marketing Solutions, which served the needs of multiple small business clients in a freelance capacity for many years. Today however, the main focus of Hunter Marketing Solutions is to serve as a top notch marketing blog where I share the knowledge and expertise I have gained to help other marketing professionals achieve their goals.
I was greatly honored in 2012 when I was approached by members of the Maryland Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) to serve on the chapter’s Board of Directors. I sat on the board for two years (2013-2014) as part of a fantastic team of professionals.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with a Minor in Communication Studies from Towson University and I am currently working on an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Loyola University of Maryland (expected May 2015). I have also been an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Baltimore Public Relations Council (BPRC), and Toastmasters International.
