Rhyan began her career in marketing in January 2014 when she interned at Hearst's O, The Oprah Magazine. After completing her internship, Rhyan accepted a full-time position at Time Inc. where she took on the role as an Advertising Sales & Marketing Assistant at All You.

After one year at All You, Rhyan was promoted to Coastal Living + Sunset—two of Time Inc.'s premier luxury brands—where she worked as a Marketing Associate. In addition to her work at Coastal Living and Sunset, Rhyan was a member of Time Inc.'s Media Upstarts team, where she helped develop content initiatives across all Time Inc. titles.

After two years at Time Inc., Rhyan joined the corporate marketing team at Meredith as a Marketing Manager for Meredith's portfolio of brands, such as SHAPE, Martha Stewart + 18 other titles.

After nearly a year at Meredith, Rhyan accepted a Marketing Manager role with Hearst’s Lifestyle Group (Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Redbook, Woman's Day + Prevention), and was then promoted to Hearst's Youth + Wellness Group (Cosmopolitan, Women's Health, Men's Health, Seventeen + Clevver) as a Senior Marketing Manager.

At Hearst, Rhyan was promoted to Associate Marketing Director and then to Marketing Director, where she currently oversees marketing and account strategy for beauty, wellness + mass retail accounts for all Hearst brands, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR, Town & Country + more.

In addition to marketing, Rhyan is a published author and writes in editorial roles for Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Elite Daily + Thought Catalog. Her travel feature, “Why Yes, You CAN Do Vegas Without 24/7 Partying" was named one of Cosmopolitan's top-performing travel stories in 2023.
