I'm a 37 year old married father of three (one girl, two boys) from Brentwood in Essex. Passionate about all things on screen, paper, and the Emirates pitch (bar the opposition and referees of course) and good music (as in 99% likely to have been recorded before the year 2000).

My tastes are pretty eclectic or what I like to refer to as the "good stuff" of all genres.

Spoken, Written & Screamed is a blog aiming at being positive - I want to write about things I think others will enjoy, rather than potentially discouraging readers from giving a film or book they might enjoy a try.
