Danica Patchen

I am a former secondary English teacher, a talkative wife to my talkative husband Jason, and a mother of three very verbal children. There is never a shortage of words in our home.

I wrote "Ribbit, Qualler, Quack" with the belief that memorable alliteration or even the lilt of an unusual word can spark curiosity and a love for language in a young child.

This children's tale combines whimsy and word play to teach the important life lesson of cooperation.
