I'm a technology addicted and open-source advocate as far as I can remember myself.

My interests range from hardware technology improvement to application design, not forgetting operating system evolution, virtualization, cloud infrastructure and so on.

A couple of months ago, I entered the world of 3D printing. I started by self assembling a Prusa i3 just for the fun of seeing it work but now I'm playing with different plastic materials and their resistance. Next step: learn OpenSCAD and start doing! DIY and open source, what a great mix!

I have an academic background in Electrical Engineering with focus in computer Engineering and digital electronics.

My professional interests concern computer systems engineering fields like embedded systems, internet of things or large system architecture and deployment.

Actually, I work as an embedded software developer for a company, in the market of Digital Video Broadcasting systems. We do consulting and customized product development, mainly set-top boxes.
