Ricardo Melo

Ricardo is a friendly, funny, overweight, catholic, curious, northern, perfectionist, passionate, stormy and colloquial Engineer, Scout, Benfica-fan, runner, and most of all, loving parent and husband.
Back in 2003, he graduated in Informatics and Computing Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering - University of Porto.
He describes himself as a Software Engineer, although he already wore many other hats along his career. At Portugal Telecom, where he works since 2003, he started at the IST and Eurescom European Projects area. After a brief time at the Voice Products team, he integrated the Billing, Intelligent Networks and Customer Management Solutions area, where he works to the present day (apart from a 2011 to 2014 hiatus at the Mobile Money area), collaborating in many different projects for a vast set of customers. Nowadays he's responsible for UZO.
