Italian-Swiss entrepreneur Riccardo Braglia began his career in the healthcare industry soon after earning a degree in economics from the Bocconi University in Milan. Since 2002, he has served as the CEO and vice chairman of Helsinn Group, a pharmaceutical company founded by his father Gabriele Braglia in 1976.

Over the past three decades, Riccardo Braglia has been dedicated to supporting cancer research and the development of innovative supportive care products and devices. He guided the expansion of Helsinn into an international group dedicated to the invention of new targeted therapies that can improve cancer patients’ quality of life. He also started serving as a board member for several healthcare companies like Lyfebulb, Sinomedica, and Thorne HealthTech. Furthermore, he supports nonprofits like the Conquer Cancer Foundation, Fondazione Ricerca Svizzera contro il Cancro, and the New Flower in Africa Foundation.

Outside his work as an entrepreneur, Riccardo Braglia is an art collector, with a particular interest in Contemporary and African art, and he enjoys scuba diving. He is also a board member of Fondazione Gabriele e Anna Braglia, an art foundation that his parents established in 2014 to share their extensive art collection with a wider audience.
