Riccardo Di Blasio

In April 2017, Riccardo Di Blasio was appointed the CEO of Globetouch, a Silicon Valley firm focusing on international connectivity, to help guide its next phase of expansion. With a deep understanding of technology disruption developed over more than two decades in the industry, he is known for driving growth and achieving operations excellence. Globetouch offers a unique virtual collaborative ecosystem for network operators to offer global connectivity backed by state-of-the-art analytics. Riccardo Di Blasio has worked extensively in North and Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East and will leverage this experience to help Globetouch expand its operations.

Riccardo Di Blasio has worked at a number of leading firms, including VMware, where he headed sales and marketing for an innovative cloud computing and information-as-a-service (IaaS) model. He also oversaw sales worldwide for EMC Corp. Most recently, he served as the COO of Cohesity, Inc., an infrastructure storage firm backed by Sequoia, Google, and other major venture capitalists. He helped build the company from scratch.

Alongside his professional work, Riccardo Di Blasio invests in Bay Area startups as a board advisor for a number of venture capital firms. In addition, he belongs to the NASA iTech steering committee and helps bridge the Silicon Valley and aerospace communities.
