The always inspired one. Admirer of all things beautiful and clever.
Raised in Toronto and born in Johannesburg, South Africa, summers were spent visiting family abroad or at summer camp. Winters were spent looking forward to the summer. And somewhere in between, I developed an appreciation for the wise words of others and finding the little moments of awe in our environments.
Having studied Communications in the University of Waterloo’s Arts & Business program, I recently returned to the world of academia (part-time) to focus my interests in the study of communications into a Social Media certificate at Seneca College. Aside from an endless desire to continue learning, I believe that staying current is essential – culturally and professionally – especially in the digital age.
I cut my teeth early in my professional life through internships both in high school and throughout university, primarily in the non-profit sector. I liked the notion of working for a cause so much that I've stuck around for most of my career. Today, passion and profession have converged into a gig working with Residential Summer Camps. I’m reminded every day how inspiring this industry is with every ‘Best. Summer. Ever’ that is uttered by camper, parent and camp professional alike.
