Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords...Husband to an amazing wife and a father to 3 children 1 boy 2 girls. I love to play sports, hang out with friends and occasionally right poems.

NEW LIFE

growing up I never new you had me in mind,
growing up I didn't know if you were mean or kind.
growing up I sometimes doubted your existence,
growing up I wanted to know you but always felt distant.
growing up I didn't know if you had created the earth,
growing up I didn't know my value or my worth.
Then one day something happened, something changed,
I was driving to work and called upon your name.
I asked you if what I read was true,
That I will never thirst again if I believed in you?
You answered, "yes without a doubt,
I will come in and change you from the inside-out".
I asked, "what about all the wrong that I've done",
You said, "just trust and believe in my Son".
I said, "come live in me I want to know you more",
You said, "that is all I have been waiting for".
So now I live my life for you alone,
To show your love and to make you known.
I now know my value and my worth,
And that you had me in mind before the creation of earth.
You tell me you will never leave me and always be near,
To trust in your word and not live in fear.
I pray for your Spirit to guide me in all your ways,
And to bring you glory all the rest of my days.
It's now this NEW LIFE that I give,
As an offering to you so that others may live.
