Rich Higgins

I separated, and on my way to being divorced, effective sometime in the fall of 2014.. I was married to Paula for close to 30 years. We have had some very good times together, and some not so-good times. The latter won outl.

I am a dad. I am very proud of my sons Richie and Brian.

I am a retired Navy nuke flangehead, bubblehead SS, and skimmer SWO puke mustang, and proud of it. If you want to know what that means, let me know. If you know what that means, then let's have a drink and tell some lies.

I work. I used to do a lot of nuclear cleanup, and I specialized in environment, safety, health, and QA. I made sure (to best of my ability) that hazardous work was safely done in compliance with applicable requirements. I want people who do that work to feel they are valued.

I play. I enjoy time with my family and friends, and love to eat great food and drink good wine. I love playing poker and chess, and I love riding my motorcyle. I am not so good at chess these days, but still enjoy pushing the pieces.
