Just another 16 year old trying to be a student athlete. It's hard managing straight A's and improving progress in basketball.
Freshman Year in High School; 2012-13 -My first year in high school. I'm prepaired for the hardest school year of my life. My middle school teachers and staff prepaired to go to high school, expecting very strict rules and work that will be 10 times harder than the work from middle school. The work was fairly easy and easy to understand. I didn't that much of a hard time as freshman.
Sophomore Year in High School; 2013-14 -Here's where my real 100% focus and dedication for school and basketball began. I was on a camping trip with some family members. One of my younger cousins challenged me to a game of basketball. I accepted the challenge but soon wanted to back out since he was beating me by about 30-2. Me seeing how he has all of these moves made want to start working hard on basketball and become great.
Teachers at my high school started telling us how our Sophomore and Junior year in high school are the most important for colleges because these are the two years in high school where colleges look at your overall work progress.
