Richard Battista

Richard Battista is a graduate of Burdett College in Boston, MA where he earned his egree in management. This was just the beginning of his journey, though. Before this, Richard Battista fought in the Vietnam War as an infantryman, and for his heroic service he was awarded the Bronze Star- the fourth highest military decoration that an enlisted rank can receive. Taking what he learned as a member of the armed services and the education he received from Burdett, Richard Battista was able to achieve even more successes.

Richard Battista has been extremely valuable to numerous entities throughout his lifetime. In San Francisco he was the radio talk show host of the show "The World of Food" on KNEW where he talked about his culinary experiences and encouraged others to expand their palates.

Some of the guests on Richard's show include Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Nascar racer Mario Andretti, Jack Tatum of the Oakland Raiders, Margaret Duckhorn of the Duckhorn Vineyards, and Winemaker Mark Beringer. Using his culinary expertise further, Richard Battista was the President and Chairman of the Board at The American Culinary Federation, Los Angeles Chapter.

In the early 2000's, while he was the director of the Art Institute in Los Angeles, the Food Network chose this Los Angeles location to be the host of their new 'The Cooking School Series'. Out of all of the other culinary schools in the country, Richard was very proud to have this location chosen as the site for this one year series.

Richard Battista also built from the ground up the Professional Culinary Institute, they received the excellence in education award in the year of 2007. One of their students was also honored with the 'Best Young Cook in the World Award'.

Richard's real passion, though, is helping other through the art of life coaching. As the founder of My Life Coaching LLC, Richard Battista is helping his clients live their life according to goals that they set so that they can be as influential, productive, and healthy as they possibly can be.

After doing so many extraordinary things, Richard Battista is the natural guide for helping others live their lives in the same fashion. In his spare time, he enjoys giving people advice in terms of better their mental health, while also leading more of a balanced, nutrition-based lifestyle.
