Richard Battye

I set up River Studio in 1990 having worked as a professional photographer in Birmingham since graduating in 1986. Over the years I have had 4 studio's mainly based at The Custard Factory. I work as a commercial and advertising photographer and have over the last few years begun to specialize in photography for "the creative and performing arts" This has included work for musicians,dancers, theatres and performers. The icing on the cake being photography for the CBSO and recently the new marketing campaign for Birmingham Royal Ballet. Other work is for the public sector; Birmingham City Council covering events/conferences and shooting for several depts. Product photography from cars and motorbikes to handbags, food and plenty of other diverse subjects!
