Richard Buangan

I am currently serving as the head of Public Diplomacy at the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem. I was also previously the Director of Digital Engagement at the U.S. Department of State.

My overseas assignments have included Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, Paris, France, and Beijing, China.

I was born and raised in San Diego, California, and I graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
