Hello Universe

Top of the morning to you or bottom of the evening to you.
Thanks for stopping by.

a little about me;

My name is Richard Setanta Clifford, I hail from the sprawling metropolis that is Galway City in the west coast of Ireland.

Consider myself to be a continuous learner, dreamer, doer and green field, blue sky thinker, I spend free time with my Family, two dogs Cujo and Princess Beyonce, friends, exploring, reading, and sports I am passionate about Rugby, I like chess and I rate myself as a decent cook. I walk the walk, talk the talk and dance the dance.

Professionally I work in HR with a emphasis on HRIS.

I have visited thirteen countries so far, and intend to visit as many of the 196 countries that I can.

I play Rugby union for Galwegains RFC, Rugby League for the Galway Tribesmen and 7's Rugby. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker.

Previously I competed in the Ironaman 70.3 Triathlon event in Galway 2012. Completed the Gaelforce West adventure race in Westport 2014. Next I will contest Hell&Back Trojan.

It feels good, to do good and its nice to be nice, I volunteer and I like to devout time to worthwhile causes and charities throughout the calendar year.

I was a member of the Irish reserve defense forces, in addition to being a volunteer fireman.

Update: roll on September 2015, work placement in Miami USA for a while.

Some of my favorite quotes: Not all who wander are lost, I haven’t been everywhere but its on my list. Anything that is worth doing is worth overdoing, everyday may not be good but theres something good in every day. If you are going through hell, keep going, Tough times dont last, Tough people do, The best dreams happen when you're awake, everything will be ok in the end, if its not ok its not the end. Don't ask ,Can I? Say, I can!, Dont cry because its over, smile because it happened. The purpose of life, is to give life a purpose. Carpe Diem and Carpe Viem,

Slan agus Slainte, Stay Golden

P.S. For the uninitiated the photo is of a lineout, taken during a rugby match ( Irish provincial derby) between Connacht and Munster at the Galway Sportgrounds

P.P.S. Connacht Won
