I'm a writer (though new and growing), and I've developed a new interest in marketing. Life has a way of taking you in directions you never planned or expected, but it's interesting to see where you can end up.
You see, marketers love data, but consumers hate dry facts. I believe that storytelling is a uniquely powerful form of persuasion that allows both groups to connect over a shared message. Compelling stories tug on peoples’ heartstrings -- and I want to be the one creating that kind of content.
As an English major getting into marketing, I am driven to finding the best words to string together to form a compelling narrative so that my messages don’t just register, they resonate.
