Born in the Chilterns in the UK, I've lived and worked all over the world, for all kinds of interesting (and less than interesting) reasons. These include being a tour guide, barman, hotelier, windsurfing instructor, lifeguard, ski guide, fashion model, successful start-up CEO, failed start-up CEO, digital marketing guru and very bad kitesurfer.
Also father of 2 teenagers, married since 1999, football data obsessive, conversational speaker of more than 3 modern languages, fellow of the CIM, part of the amazing TechBiker Paris to London sponsored bike ride in Autumn 2015.
Right now my day job is at TechCity UK, London leading the Digital Business Academy (teaching the world about digital business for free!) I try to spend as many weekends as possible at home with my family in the lovely North Somerset or occasionally further afield. Occasionally found at Ashton Gate, usually with my head in my hands.
Always love meeting new people and hearing brilliant ideas, connecting as many of them all together as fast as I can. Unless they are trying to sell me things I don't need or want..
