In my twenties, I was fortunate to have directed several projects that were very successful. The most successful of these was a series of great music videos. In 1991, I was chosen to direct the Geto Boys break out hit "Mind Playin’ Tricks on me." This video went number one on MTV and all other video charts. A few years later, Rolling Stone Magazine listed this video as the 33rd best video ever produced. And recently, the video was listed in the top 100 music videos of all time.
In the 1990's I was privileged to be the Creative Director at Red E Studios and we produced an extensive library of Commercials, TV Shows, Training Films, Legal Videos and Corporate FIlms. Recently, I have directed several short projects including my first feature length film. The film was a low budget project shot in the country of TChad in the native tongue of the region.
I have spent the past seven years giving back to my community as a leader for change in several local churches. In these positions, I have taught several times a week to groups ranging from five to over a thousand. I enjoy teaching and my two inspirations for how to teach come from the book "What The Best College Teachers Do," by Ken Bain and the DVD "Comedian," by Jerry Sienfield. Both of these sources have taught me how to engage my audience with the content.
Currently, I am working on a feature film about the Paralympics and a Thesis for a MFA in Digital Cinema.
