Richard Kapsch

Mr. Richard Kapsch, the Managing Director of Pride Holdings, LLC, and a financial consultant based in Schaumburg, Illinois, conducted a seminar on Principles of Trading, on Sunday, May 20th 2012. This seminar was organized by Pride Group- an international financial services company, headquartered in Dubai, UAE, at the offices of one of its subsidiaries - Al Shuaib International Financial Brokerage Company, in Kuwait. More than 60 people including prominent entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, and traders attended the event.

The seminar was about “Principles of Trading”. Mr. Kapsch outlined some basic techniques used by successful traders as well as pitfalls that traders should avoid. He also discussed analysing and forecasting currency price movements.

Richard J. Kapsch is the Managing Director of Pride Holdings, LLC, a consultancy based in Schaumburg, Illinois, specializing in international finance. He was previously President of Leader Investments, Inc., a brokerage firm based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, dealing in equities, options, and futures. He has spent almost forty years in the securities and futures industries, including experience with major U. S. securities firms such as E. F. Hutton, Shearson and Prudential-Bache Securities. He has been involved at all levels of management.

Mr. Kapsch was a member of the International Monetary Market, a division of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, for eleven years, and was elected to the Board of Governors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he served for five years. While a member of that Board, he chaired the Foreign Currency Committee and was a member of both the Strategic Planning and Audit Committees.

Mr. Kapsch holds a B. A. degree from Yale University and an M. B. A. degree, in Corporate Finance, from New York University. He has taught graduate-level courses at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Keller Graduate School of Management and Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He has spoken at numerous international seminars and is the author of several magazine articles.

Mr. Kapsch is assisting Pride Group in the development and implementation of commodity exchanges in various locations around the world.
