After thirty years in the UK and twelve years working as a musician, I have recently moved with my fiancé to her hometown, Sydney Australia.

Currently working as a Program Manager and Conductor for Directions in Music, this is a music education service, which provides schools with band programs and instrumental tuition. This new opportunity is giving me the chance to work alongside young musicians and give something back.

Still an active musician, both as a player and conductor, I enjoy all aspects of musical performance in a wide range of genres. I am still active in a range of different styles and ensembles including; Orchestral, Big Band, Pit Orchestras, Brass Bands, small Jazz Combos and Chamber Ensembles.

Away from the stage I am a very keen composer, and have always enjoyed the thrill when you first hear you own work being performed. I have and continue to write for all of the following ensembles; Orchestras, Big Band, Wind Bands, Brass Bands, small Jazz Combos and Chamber Ensemble

A keen rugby fan, I have opted to put my playing days behind me and for the last few years have embarked on the path on triathlon, with my sights set on Ironman glory!
