Richard Scioli

Richard Scioli is a current MBA candidate at Babson College. His interests and experience rest in the technology and energy sectors. He is currently working with a team on a novel idea to capture waste heat from data servers and convert it into a usable source of electricity. The concept recently won top honors at The MIT Clean Energy Prize Pitch contest. Prior to attending Babson, Richard founded and managed The Pondera Group, which was an online marketing and strategy company that helped financial advisors better communicate with clients over the web. The Pondera group was acquired by eMoney Advisor in 2009, and Richard spent two years developing new strategies and a new product line at eMoney Advisor. Richard has completed several consultancy projects for start-up technology companies and is currently working with The Massachusetts Clean Energy Council to develop a series of reports on energy related start-up trends in Massachusetts. Richard is also a sitting board member of The Special Olympics of Massachusetts until August of 2013. He is an avid reader, writer, and enjoys boxing and exercise. He entered and completed the New York Marathon in 2008. Richard graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University with degrees in Business Administration and Biology. He is currently a Presidential Scholar at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
