Richard Foster

Project Manager in Hackney, United Kingdom

A television producer, developing and producing high quality factual content for British and International broadcasters

My most recent prouction was 'Scandimania' a new 3-part series about modern Scandinavia with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, for Channel 4

Most recently I've been Development Producer at Rare Day and Dragonfly Film and TV. I've previously worked in development at Windfall Films where I was originating ideas across factual and documentary genres and responding to specific commissioning briefs, ranging from hard-hitting documentaries to celebrity fishing shows

Recent filming experience includes a Channel 4 access-based observational documentary and previously on Discovery International format 'Countdown to Collision' and Channel 5's 'Chris Tarrant: Extreme Railways'.

With a broad base of experience across the industry in both production and development, I'm well placed to offer fresh, relevant ideas - write engaging and innovative treatments - and produce high-quality programmes.

I love to be challenged and work best as part of a vibrant team, but can self-manage equally well when necessary.

Currently learning to edit in Adobe Premiere Pro C6. Shooting on Canon C300, 5D, XF305, Sony EX3 (with Nano-flash). Stills photography for publicity stills on a range of DSLR cameras
