Retired from active surgery, but involved in menopause management, pain relief medicine and vulvo-vaginal disease. Grew up in Papua New Guinea, and did primary school there. Secondary school at Church of England Grammar School, Brisbane. Won Commonwealth scholarship to do Medicine at University of Queensland in Brisbane. Did Internship and Residency in Auckland, New Zealand. Then worked in New Guinea for 2 years, followed by country general practice in Camden, NSW. Did Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, 1972-78. Did Pelvic Surgery / Gynaecologic Oncology Fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI (1979-81), before going into practice at Sinai Hospital, Detroit.

Presidential Award, (American) Society of Gynaecologic Oncologists (1986)

Was a foundation member of the Double Bay Rotary Club, Run Medical and Surgical education courses, both in Australia and abroad. Done charity and demonstration surgery in multiple countries – United States (multiple), Australia (multiple), New Zealand (1986), Mexico (1987), France (), Venezuela (1991), Philippines (1998), Taiwan (1999), Germany (2006), The Netherlands (2007), United Kingdom (2007), India (2007-08), Dubai (2012), Saudi Arabia (2012).
Served in Honorary Positions on a number of Medical Societies, Supported a number of charities, Been a Guest Editor for a number of Scientific Journals. Also been an Honorary Member on a number of Editorial Boards.
