Richard's grandfather settled in Loveland, CO in 1893. The law office of Richard W. Ball, LLC is located in the very building built by his grandfather in the 1920's.

Richard's father, Judge Conrad Ball, started practicing law in Loveland, CO in 1945. Judge Ball made many prominent contributions to the community during his lifetime. As a gesture of appreciation, Loveland's Conrad Ball Middle School was named after him. Himself a proud product of the public schools in Loveland, Richard's grandchildren are now sixth generation Lovelanders.

Richard W. Ball is a solo practitioner of general law concentrating on real estate, wills and trusts, elder law and business law. Richard has been continuing his family's legal tradition since 1972.

A past president of the Larimer County Bar Association, Rich has also served as president of the Loveland Habitat for Humanity and Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado, as well as the Loveland Rotary Club.
