A graduate of the University of Illinois, Richard Barnhill began his successful sales career as an outside sales territory manager for Arbordahl & Associates, Inc., in 2005. In addition to guiding revenue and managing B2B sales, he supervised a team of six sales associates in this role. In 2006, Richard Barnhill left Arbordahl to take a position with leading regulated waste and compliance company Stericycle in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Over the next decade, Richard Barnhill held positions of increasing responsibility with Stericycle, including serving as a health care compliance representative and a territory sales specialist. In the latter role, he developed new revenue streams and cultivated long-term business relationships throughout the northeast US sales region.

In 2014, Mr. Barnhill was named a regional account executive, a role in which he was responsible for the Northeast United States and East Canada regions. Over the next three years, he generated new business through Stericycle’s sharps management, regulated medical waste, OSHA compliance, and other specialized services. He also supervised a $7 million sales book while driving 30 percent revenue growth and a new client mix of 40 percent.

Throughout his career, Mr. Barnhill has earned accolades for his work in sales. Named a Top Performer by Stericycle in 2009 and 2010, he also regularly received President’s Club and Vice President's Leadership Council honors during his time with the company.
