Hi, I'm Richard and just recently I've discovered a true passion for voice overs. The type of voice work I am most enthusiastic about are commercials, documentaries, animation, and video games, although I would certainly like to expand my repertoire to include audio-books too.

My interest in the voice over industry comes from my other passion; video games. With the constant advancements in technology, and the demand to create deeper, more immersive games, voice acting has become more important than ever, and the opportunity to participate in this field is an experience I just can not pass up.

At this point in time, my opportunities to demonstrate my vocal talents have come through gaming related podcasts, and a small part in a friend's YouTube play through of the classic RPG; Final Fantasy VIII. It was a real eye-opener in terms of having to record several takes to really nail down an American accent in addition to the tone and pitch.

This has only pushed me to constantly improve and hone my technique. I expect to reach a high standard in voice overs, but never master it as I feel there should always be room for improvement. There will never be a situation where I am not learning and improving.
