Richard Cochrane

I have over twenty years technical theatres experience in major London theatres, including the Dominion, the National, the Dome and the Old Vic. I specialise in the operation and maintenance of large scale moving head and generic lighting rigs, including the installation of control and power infrastructures. I am an accomplished trouble-shooter, approaching issues in a methodical way and applying my previous experience to resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Additionally, I am responsible for a department of 10 people, delivering staff training and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. I have good communication skills and have forged excellent relationships with my colleagues. Working at a major venues has also provided me with many exciting creative opportunities to design and program numerous corporate, charity and media events. I have also been responsible for the integration of additional fixtures and control systems for these events.
