Richard Coen Charleston

As head of Coen Capital LLC in Charleston, South Carolina, Richard Coen brings a wealth of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, and finance to his work, along with a broad diversity of accomplishments in residential and commercial construction. A versatile figure in South Carolina’s real estate marketplace since the late 1980s, Richard Coen also sells commercial and residential properties through Carolina One, which maintains one of the largest networks in the Charleston region.When not working, he enjoys spending time at the Hardpinch Gun Club, Hartwell Hunting and Fishing Club, and the Carolina Yacht Club, among other local member organizations. Also active in the local community, he volunteers whenever possible with Gallant Evangelistic Ministries.

Among his many recent achievements, Mr. Coen redeveloped, restored and renovated numerous buildings in historic downtown Charleston. In addition, he has developed Lowcountry Office Park/ E Wall Street- a Class A office park, Bridgeport center- two 30,000-square-foot class A office buildings, Tides- 121 luxury condominiums, Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina- 121 room full service hotel with 431 slip commercial marina, Red's Ice House on Shem Creek and the Patriots Point Links- 18 hole harborside golf course in the Charleston area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Charleston.
