To really know me, head over to my Geeklist, or Fiddles, or follow me on Twitter. But as we're already here I can give you the 1000 mile view:
I'm a web guy. I like untangling old code as well as working with the new and shiny. I'm a front-end developer, but I can dabble in the dark arts of back-end when I need to. My happy place is CSS and object-oriented JavaScript. I truly like showing people what can be accomplished with nothing but HTML and CSS and the speed those bring. That said, I am passionate about optimizing all of my code, because making sites faster and more engaging makes the users happier and stickier, and who doesn't like happy sticky users?
I'm versed in responsive, mobile-first, graceful degradation, 508 accessibility, and agile methodologies. I am also happy with cross browser and push come to shove I will even do battle against the ancient and evil Internet Exploder. Ask me about V6.
JQuery and other libraries are nice to have around and I'm comfortable working in them, but I am just as happy working without that safety net. In fact I am always concerned about a site becoming bogged down in plug-in baggage, so I am always looking for a faster yet easy way of doing the same thing without adding yet another dependency.
If your're not down with standards and style guides you probably don't want to show me your code, and don't get me started on naming your layers in photoshop... We can still be friends, but don't go showing me your spaghetti.
