I’m Richard, a dual Kiwi and American, currently in the Rochester, NY region. Formerly a science teacher, these days I work on projects that aim to better our world that involve play, games, and learning design.

I design and consult on games and playful stuff for organisations large and small, help run festivals of play in the city, and agonise over the occasional tabletop game design.
