Richard Edison

A retired plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard Edison was named One of America’s Top Surgeons from the Consumers’ Research Council. For more than 20 years, Dr. Edison provided a full range of services from his private practice in Hollywood, Florida. Actively involved with his professional community, he belonged to the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgery, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, and the Florida Medical Association. Furthermore, Dr. Richard Edison maintained certification through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Regarded as a leader in his field, Dr. Edison published two articles during his career, one piece on capsular contraction in the Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and another on phenol peeling in Anesthetic Plastic Surgery. He earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a bachelor of arts in zoology from Pomona College.
