Richard Girasole

Richard Girasole has served as the president of his accounting firm in Brooklyn, New York, for nearly four decades. In this role, he leads a staff of eight in accounting and tax work for both individual and corporate clients. When Richard Girasole established his full-service accounting firm in 1982, he provided services to 50 clients. He has since expanded his company’s client base to approximately 1,500.

Mr. Girasole studied accounting at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He received his bachelor of science in 1976 and since has earned licenses as a CPA in five states. In addition to leading his firm, he engages with a number of CPA associations, including the New York State Society of CPAs, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of his work, Mr. Girasole enjoys staying physically active. He frequently rollerblades and is an annual participant in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
