A brief introduction

I am a 25 year old Purchasing Supervisor working for JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA. Between myself and one other Purchasing Supervisor, our team is responsible for purchasing all parts for our seven JLG and Jerr-Dan production warehouses. This position is exciting to me; every day brings about a new opportunity to solve problems and help others achieve their goals. I have found a passion working in what we at Oshkosh collectively call GPSC (Global Purchasing and Supply Chain).

My immediate target is to obtain a position as Commodity Manager in 2013 and ideally stay within the Oshkosh family of companies.

What are my 5 year professional goals?

1. Attain a Director role with Oshkosh GPSC
2. Complete an MBA
3. Earn the following certifications (CSCP, CPIM, C.P.M., PMP)
