Richard T. Jellinger

Richard T. Jellinger is an attorney with over three decades in the legal business. Today he is the principal operator of Jellinger Law Office, a private law firm specializing in employment litigation, criminal law, and estate planning. Graduating from Iowa State University in 1973, Jellinger possesses a BS in Political Science. He earned his law degree from The University of Iowa in 1976 and then became a member of the Minnesota Bar.

Commencing his career as an Associate at Petersen, Petersen & Eddy, a private practice with a specialization in estate planning, Jellinger began to establish the groundwork that makes up his current practice. Jellinger’s next role as a Manager for one of national law firm Hyatt Legal Services’ three-attorney offices saw him develop experience for his next positions as the Principal of Kenas & Jellinger and Richard T. Jellinger, Attorney at Law. At the private firms, Jellinger practiced family, criminal, and estate law before transitioning into work as the Program Director for the Minnesota State Bar Association. Jellinger coordinated and implemented law office management seminars, services, and products for several years before returning to law practice in 1994.

Currently, the multifaceted lawyer has assumed his role as the Principal of his own private law practice, Jellinger Law Office, and he aids people who have committed crimes as well as people who have had disputes with their employers to get their lives back on track. Richard T. Jellinger is a member of Phi Kappa Theta, a social fraternity with a mission to serve society, the fraternity, and God. He is a regular member of the Church of St. Stephen. Jellinger has also served in the military as a member of the United States Army. He has served in Vietnam and Germany as a Staff Sergeant, earning the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
